Peer Insights is Mento's lightweight 360 feedback tool. This page covers what it is, how it works for your team members, and what you (the program owner) can see and do. Share with HRBPs, People leads, and anyone helping run your Mento program.
🧠What Peer Insights is
A 5 minute, 4 question pulse survey that members initiate themselves to gather anonymous feedback from coworkers. Their Mento coach helps them debrief the results and turn the feedback into focused growth work.
Three things to know:
- Member initiated, not partner initiated. Members choose when to launch and who to invite.
- Anonymous and developmental, not evaluative. It's not a performance review.
- Coach facilitated. The coach reviews the report first, then debriefs live with the member in a 1:1.
💪 Why it matters for your program
- Faster member growth. Honest feedback from coworkers gives the coach a real picture of strengths and blind spots, so coaching gets sharper sooner.
- Better engagement signal. Members who launch Peer Insights are usually highly invested in their development. Leading indicator of program health.
- No partner lift. Launching, reminders, report generation, and debrief all happen inside Mento.
- Reinforces feedback culture. Normalizes asking for feedback, separate from performance cycles.
🚀 How it works for a member
- Member visits app.mento.co/m/insights (5 minutes to set up).
- They invite 8 to 10 coworkers: manager, peers, direct reports, even external colleagues.
- Coworkers get a 4 question survey, ~5 minutes. Automated reminders at 5, 10, and 15 days.
