This checklist outlines the essential IT setup steps for integrating Mento’s services, ensuring smooth communication and calendar syncing between your employees and Mento. If you lack an IT department or need help, contact your Mento Partner Success Manager or email [email protected].

1. Allow Mento Emails & Calendar Invites

Mento sends coaching session invites and platform notifications via email. To ensure these are delivered and integrated with Google or Teams calendars:

Mento uses DKIM, SPF, and DMARC authentication to prevent spoofing, so whitelisting the entire domain (mento.co) is recommended.

2. Safelist Mento’s Web App (VPN & Firewall Settings)

If your organization uses a VPN or firewall, ensure app.mento.co is added to your safelist so employees can access Mento’s platform.

Additionally, to enable Mento’s peer insights and pulse check surveys, add our 3rd party survey provider mento-team.typeform.com to your safelist.

4. Verify Alternative Domains for Login

If your team includes folks on multiple corporate email suffixes (parent company plus operating brands, subsidiary entities, or recent acquisitions), share the full list with your Mento Partner Success contact at implementation so we can allowlist them all on your account. If a member sees a "we cannot find your company" message at signup, an unrecognized domain is almost always why. Email your Partner Success contact and we will add the domain (typically within the hour).

5. Microsoft 365 SSO (Optional)

Microsoft SSO sign in to Mento requires partner IT admin approval. Many Microsoft 365 environments require all new apps to be admin approved before they show up for users. If your members want to sign in via Microsoft SSO, your IT admin will need to:
